My good friend Mark Thomas can absolutely crush the ball. I have played with him multiple times and have seen many drives over 350 yards. He takes lines that most people would never even think about. Here is his swing:

He was a former NFL Tight End and he is a big guy so those of us that are a little bit smaller cannot have delusions that we can mash the ball the way he does. In fact, Mark hits his 3 wood significantly further than I can hit my driver. It is still fun to watch and enjoy.
