If you are thinking about joining a private golf club or country club in the Raleigh, Durham or Chapel Hill area, you may consider Old Chatham. Below are the Initiation fees and monthly dues for members. This is the 2017 price sheet but they likely have not changed that much. The Membership initiation cost is as follows:

Residents (age 50 and above) – $5000 year/10 years. Monthly dues of $975. Capital replacement fund of $175.

Residents (ages 40-49) – $2500 year/10 years. Monthly dues of $735. Capital replacement fund of $132.

Young Professionals (under age 40) – $2500 year/10 years. Monthly dues of $490. Capital replacement fund of $87.50.

North Carolina (primary residence more than 50 miles from Old Chatham) – $2000 year/10 years. Monthly dues of $490. Capital replacement fund of $87.50.

National (primary residence outside of North Carolina) – $2000 year/10 years. Monthly dues of $325. Capital replacement fund of $58.
