Ironwood Country Club in Palm Desert, California is one of the more unique country club opportunities. Unlike many clubs in Palm Springs, Ironwood is not pushing a high initiation fee. In fact, there is no initiation fee for your first five years or the age of 55, whichever comes sooner. Ironwood has two every different types of golf courses. The North Course tips out at 6088 yards but is more of a short makers course. The South Course is the host to the annual U.S. Open qualifier. You can play it as long as 7274 yards.
