Claw Golf Gloves by CaddyDaddy – Worth It?

Over the last several months there have been a number of promotional events and emails related to the Claw Golf Gloves. The CGA sent out an email offering a discount on the “game changing golf gloves”. Most people will find these golf gloves on Amazon for around $23 a glove. With this coming at a premium, are these Claw Golf Gloves worth it?

Golf gloves have created a very interesting industry. Most amateur golfers do not think about getting a new golf under theirs falls apart and they pick up another one at the turn. Some amateur golfers try to use the same glove for as long as possible even if it has holes in it. At most country clubs, members will pay between $20 and $25 for a new glove. If they think ahead they can get a good Footjoy golf glove for around $12 or $13 at Golf Galaxy or Dicks Sporting Goods.

The “claim to fame” for the Claw Golf Glove is its durability and long lasting design. Having played thousands of holes of golf, it is quite clear that some golf gloves are built better than others. I personally loved the EXO4 by Footjoy but, as usual, the design only lasted a year or two.

If you fall in love with a particular golf glove I would strongly suggest getting about 10 or 15 as they will likely only last one season in the stores. If you find that the Claw Golf Glove is the right golf glove for you, pick up a couple before they become discontinued. You may be able to find old ones on eBay or Amazon but great golf gloves become extinct once they are discontinued.
