After a very wet winter in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and Georgia, avid golfers have started to look at winter opportunities elsewhere. Most private Tampa, Florida country and golf clubs have their peak golf season November through March and April. Some clubs close down two days during the summer months for maintenance reasons.
